The Sandbox has a complex international political situation.

Countries: 

Sun Empire: a failed state right under the sun, basically HRE, thinks theyre superior.

Lucy Empire: Rules a lot of the slice of land near when the Moon represents Lucy, Lucy is displeased at the genocidal empire, because they keep genociding countries, including not near the slice of the world nearest the Moon when it represents Lucy.

Extra Kingdom, they exist because I can’t think of anything, directly from The Battle of War 2, one of the most competent, democratic, and well run nations, the monarch is mostly ceremonial at this point, one of a handful or superpowers.

The Kingdom of The Hand: a cult like city state nation that worships the Hand.

Mermaid States: self explanatory

A city state for this world's equivalent to the UN.

Many city states of varying sizes

Multiple international unions and blocs.

The Wasteland Stations: Well organized city states that were set up by The Extra Kingdom Icy Wasteland Beyond The Sun's Reach Research Organization, basically this world's Antarctic bases, but entire towns.

Mountwoodedcreekiland: a small state near Lucy Empire

Davenstone: a small republic recently conquered by the Lucy Empire after a brutal 3 year war, it left a final broadcast for its people as its capital was stormed, the broadcast has gone globally viral for its depressingness, like the final broadcasts of countries being conquered in WWII.
