Every day one hour before the Sun turns off for the night the Axolotl Gods roll 2 dice, if they get two ones, they flip a coin, landing heads means golden hour, and tails means blood hour.
The chances each day for a special hour is 2.78%, each gets just a 1.4%, the expected timeframe between special hours is 36 days.
There is no warning.
Golden Hour is like Earth's golden hour in how the world feels but not in how it works. For Golden Hour the Axolotl Gods make the Sun produce golden light, no matter what section the Moon is it, it's color also becomes golden (this golden color is metallic unlike the basic yellow the Moon turns in Goldy's section), it is so beautiful every living thing with eyes is awestruck, before immediately going back to murking each other. People though, they appreciate it, and it is a golden rule to not hurt another person of any species during Golden Hour.
Sun turns red and dim, it's downdrafts intensify increasing global temps noticeably for an hour. The Moon also turns red no matter the section it is in. The worst part of Blood Hour is the fact the Black Balls of Death get faster, fire gets uncontrollably hot and ferocious to the point a candle can become a bonfire, and 1/23492 raindrops become evil. I... idk how a drop of water becomes evil, the Axolotl Gods insist this is the case.
