Humans, Neanderthals, Denisovans, Mermaids, and Fairies are all the people species in the Playground. There is a rumor of a 6th species in the frozen wastes but the Axolotl Gods say "if we made it we forgot and cannot find it again".

People refers to all civilized humanoid species, they are all related. Human refers to Homo Sapiens, and Hominin is Humans, Neanderthals, and Densiovans, but not the fairies or mermaids.

Humans: 793M

Neanderthals: 302M

Mermaids: 94M

Fairies: 26M

Denisovans: 8.5M

There are also many races in each species, like the catgirls and catboys.
