Gods

The gods are a pantheon of 8 omnipotent immature nonomniscient axolotls, they can change their size at will, but are physical and in the world. They often hold Q&As in major cities, where people are rightfully pissed that their lives suck, and the Axolotl Gods try to console them, and usually do actually take feedback and act on it best they can.

The gods are goobers.

The gods do try their hardest, they do care for what they've made, they are gods, inherently somewhat wise given they made the world, and must work together, just they are immature when it comes of their personalities, leading to fights that kill millions.

They have said they live on the other side of the infinite plane that is the world, where they take their time off, maintain the universe, and test new stuff.
