Maneater Plant

An 8 foot deep pitcher plant, since no animals big enough for it to survive would climb an 8ft plant, it's pitcher is actually underground, the leaf on pitcher plants that look like a lid serves as a trapdoor to trap animals.

It specializes in eating wild largeish mammals, like young deer, but it will easily catch a person.
