Global day-night cycle because the sun just turns off. Day lasts 12 hours, night lasts 12 hours.

The full year is measured by the orbit of the Moon, it has 8 slices each defined by the color of the Moon. It starts white then a color for each axolotl god. It takes 360 days to orbit. Changes color every 25 days at midnight, takes 9 total colors one per god plus the white, for 9 months (moonslices) of 40 days thanks to the clean numbering.

The Moonslices are as follows: White, Pink, Yellow, Black, Cyan, Purple, Brown, Green, Dark Blue.

2 seasons cold and hot, for unknown reasons, most likely the Axolotl Gods' doing to create seasons when they saw the world wouldn't naturally get any, the frozen wasteland air beyond the Sun's grace gets swept up by the Moon's updrafts and sent inwards in the global air circulation cycle, flooding it with colder air and pushing the wastes inward to create winter, only while the moon is in the latter 4 color sections. The hot season is when the cold wastes air and cycle air almost never mixes, so the air is stuck in the cycle, constantly passed by the Sun which heats it up and sends it out, and due to it barely leaving the system and mixing with the wastes air, the cycle keeps the heat.
